  • De-icing salts used to melt snow
  • Insect control products
  • Human medications (aspirin, acetaminophen, ibuprofen, anti-cancer drugs, anti-depressants, vitamins, and diet pills)
  • Cooked chicken bones (sharp edges)
  • Cigarettes
  • String, yarn, rubber bands, and dental floss can cause intestinal strangulation.
  • Toys with removable parts
