O.U.P. is short for Once Upon A Paw
NO, O.U.P. is not a rescue. We don't take in pets. We are simply the resources for people who need animal education, financial assistance, Veterinarian recommendations, grooming, training, etc., anything about animals and their well-being.
Back in 2016, we started doing drop offs weekly. As of November 2020, Once Upon A Paw only does drop-offs once monthly and brings a maximum of 3 weeks' worth of pet food/ supplies!!!
Illinois location Mondays & Tuesdays closed, Wednesdays – Sundays 10 am-4 pm. Arizona location is Mondays & Tuesdays closed, Wednesday – Sundays 8 am-2 pm.
O.U.P. can be reached at (312)619-9020. Someone in the office usually always returns phone calls using the caller I.D.; O.U.P. does not check voicemails. Our email address has changed since November 2020; it's now oup.support@onceuponapaw.org.
You can get on the drop-off list by subscribing to one of our PAW packages." For our seniors 60years and older, call (312)619-9020 to sign up.
we strongly encourage you not to miss your scheduled drop-offs, but you would be added to the following list if you forget your drop off day. If the weather is nice, we can leave the food/supplies at the door, but if the weather is terrible or the neighborhood is unsafe, we cannot leave the food/supplies outside.
Once Upon A Paw services pet owners in the cook, Maricopa and Pinal County areas.
Please help us fund our mission and save millions of pets from being placed in an animal shelter.
